According to the By Laws of the church, membership in the church shall consist of all persons who have meet the qualifications below.  

            1. Have a personal commitment of faith in Jesus Christ.

            2. Have been baptized or want to be baptized by immersion as a testimony of salvation.

            3. Sign a commitment to abide by the membership covenant of New Life                               Fellowship.

Membership Covenant

Having been led, as we believe by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and, on profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now, in the presence of God, and as recognized by this body of Christ, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ.


WE COVENANT TOGETHER TO:

Walk in LOVE: “Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.” (Ephesians 5:1-2)
…by loving others as Christ has loved us…
by forgiving others as Christ has forgiven us
…by praying consistently for others



Walk in the LIGHT: 
“For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!” (Ephesians 5:8)
…by living for the glory of Christ Jesus
…by living under the power of the Holy Spirit
…by living as a testimony of God’s love in Christ
…by being faithful in worship, Bible study, and ministry
…by being faithful in giving of tithes and offerings



Walk CAREFULLY: “So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.” (Ephesians 5:15-16)
…by discovering my spiritual gifts and ministry
…by being equipped and trained by spiritual leaders
…by developing a servant’s heart.

I confirm that I have met the qualifications for membership in the body of Christ at New Life Fellowship.  I have a personal commitment of faith in Jesus Christ.  I was baptized by immersion as a testimony of my salvation. With the help of the Holy Spirit, I will strive to follow the membership covenant.
