Leadership Team Minutes

July 24, 2024

Attendance

- Gene and Amanda Currier, Ron Tolson, and Kim and Casey Goodson

Opening

- The minutes from the last meeting were read and approved.

Financial

- Kim presented the last two months' finance report to the team.

- Our insurance rates have gone up after having two claims last year.

- The finance report was approved by the team.

Missions

- Our regular giving will be:

• $75 to Christian Aragon from Cru

• $75 to UNM Cru

• $100 to the Free Store

• $100 to the Belen food pantry

• $100 to CareNet

• $75 to Young at Heart choir

- With no communication with CareNet, the team voted to no longer send them regular giving.

- Casey will call the two Cru leaders to talk about mission giving.

- The team voted to give $500 to NM Baptist Disaster Relief for Ruidoso NM Fire Relief.

- The team voted to hold $286 for the next meeting.

Old business

- The team discussed the need for a worship leader.

- Casey is waiting for Robert Noblin to call to discuss worship leader possible leads.

- Gene talked to Dennis about working together to design the courtyard door canopy.

- Bob is working on the cross.

- Casey will talk to families about joining the worship team.

New business

- Plans are being made for a Sunday Song Service.

- Don Clinger from the Gideons will be speaking August 4th.

- The first aid supplies need to be restocked.

- The ladies will have a picnic at Doc Long Picnic Ground.

- Movie night will be September 13.
